I was a little uneasy about purchasing stainless after using non-stick for years. The arrival of our new glass-top stove forced me to find a replacement for my old pans that did the “tilt-a-whirl” if I wasn’t holding onto the handles. I did some research online and settled on this reasonably-priced Cuisinart set. I’ve been using it now for a few months and love it! I haven’t used the steamer basket yet but the other pans I use every time I prepare a meal. The pans have enough weight to keep them in place on the stove but aren’t so heavy as to make them awkward. I do have to remind myself to go slow. If the burners are set too high I will have sticking. Even that isn’t a big deal, though. Let the pan cool down, add water, let soak, and wash. Sometimes I use a little non-abrasive cleanser for extra polish on the inside. The lid handles do get hot so I keep a couple of potholders handy. Overall I’m very happy with this attractive set. And I don’t have to worry about a coating coming off in our food!
