CHEAP USB Powered and Most Efficient Metal Cooler Pad with 3 Built-in Fans for Laptop Computer
The thing about this pad that I appreciate the most is it’s simple design. It is, in effect, a simple piece of aluminum bent into a cooler-pad shape, three fans bolted on, and a bunch of rubber grommets and pads to keep your computer and itself in place. The fans are standard 60mm size, nice and quiet, and when the day comes that one of them does start to fail, the wiring scheme is so simple that I’ll have a harder time scrounging the tools and parts to replace it than actually replacing the fan.
The only real problem I have is it’s size. I have a large laptop (17″ HP DV7) and it hangs a couple inches off either side and a little off the front, so it’s really designed for a machine smaller than the one I have. Despite this, it cools my machine exceptionally well and is stable enough that it has survived the “curious toddler what’s-this-daddy? test.”
Pros: All in all a well designed, sturdy, and efficient design. Fans easily serviceable/replaceable.
Cons: Completely open design on the sides and bottom. Little protection for underside wiring, not very portable. Overall size would work better for notebooks smaller than 17″.

I can see the improvements over the power capacity. The only thing that is missing is the led indicator when you charge the battery. In the instructions book that is coming with the battery it is mentioned that all AGPtek batteries are equipped with a led that will indicate you the charging status, but this is missing on the current model.

CHEAP Mobile Edge 13.3-Inch Neoprene Notebook Sleeve
I can’t think of any ways to improve this product. My Mobile Edge actually outlasted my old Dell. I now have a 12.1 inch Dell Latitude D420 but I will never give up this 13-inch model for a smaller laptop sleeve since I like to stick my lecture notes in the sleeve with my laptop instead of bringing my backpack around.
The side carrying loop is surprisingly strong as it uses a parachute type stitching. I wouldn’t trust swinging my laptop around by holding the carry loop but it is so useful pulling out the laptop sleeve out of my backpack.
Double zippers are a plus in case one fails.
Small outer pocket can easily fit my headphones, external hard drive, or even my power adapter.
This sleeve has lasted three years of my undergrad life and I have no doubt of it failing anytime soon.

CHEAP Acer AS7540-5750 17.3-Inch Laptop (Blue)
So far, it is very good. I like the Multi-Gesture Touchpad and the numeric keyboard. I watched the UP Blu-ray and it played great with no lag. It looked and sounded fine. The picture was clear. My son said it played blu-ray than his Sony Vaio did. My son who is a gamer says it is really good. The wireless hooked up right away. No lags at this point. I have never had an Acer before so I have been pleasantly surprised.

CHEAP Adjustable Laptop Table Laptop Laidback Computer Desk Portable Bed Tray Book Stand Multifuctional & Ergonomics design dual layer tabletop up to 19″ on width
Very versatile and light. The product could be sturdier, but then it would not be as light (portability) or easy to change the setup (versatility). There are several models of this product but I chose A4 because it is 1″ wider and it has a rubber pad along the horizontal bottom that touches your laptop. There is another model that has a cooling mechanism (and no rubber pad), but the dual layer setup of this model can take care of the cooling. I was surprised to see the hollow core (that’s what “dual layer” means) – for aesthetic reasons a closed edge would look nicer, but this allows heat to escape. Changing the angles is not as quick as I thought since you have to press the button in while simultaneously changing the angle. But this is probably preferable to buttons that pop out, since part of what makes this great is you can actually pack it up and take it places since it’s so streamlined. Despite these observations, it’s hard to see how they could come up with a better design, all things considered. I hope they have other model wider than 10.5″ to fit most laptops from top to bottom (the side-to-side width of 19″ is great). The actual flat surface from top to bottom is only 9.75″ because the remaining 0.75″ is the rubber edge. My laptop is still stable enough on it. One reviewer said the 19″ is wide enough to write notes on the side, but I find that doing so takes away some stability. Again, that’s the tradeoff of less stability and more lightness. Probably I would prefer a little more stability but still think it’s a great product.
